Audio of KMUN Intervew
To listen to the audio of the interview conducted by Steve Forrester today, go here. On the left-hand side of the page you'll find a box that says "Listen to Audio" and "Batting Average", followed by the Internet Archive image. Below that is "Stream." Click on "64kbs M3U" and you should have audio.
The interview is about 29 minutes, preceded by about 30 seconds of the end of "Soundprint" and the station ID by engineer Terry Wilson.
Enjoy. As always, your comments appreciated.

Well I guess the first observation is that the local MSM seems to have online audio now. Even though my attempt has pretty much been a failure, I guess at least I forced them to kick it up a notch.
Anyways, lots of attacking from you 2, kind of entertaining really. As with any political race, I agree with half of the posistions touted from the left and half on the right. (Us damn libertarians are a confused bunch...)
I guess the big question is about the budget, yea or nay?
Way too much conversation about "The D.A."
Way too much conversation about "Experience" when in truth it appears to come across more like simple "Tenure" and "Usual Business" touted as significant accomplishment.
Tryan, what about the budget?
Would you vote for it?
Would you change it?
What's good about it?
What in it is wasteful spending?
What is the most ridiculous item in it?
The County Manager's budget was released just last week and I haven't been able to get a paper copy yet. It's online, a great way to search for particulars, but with true costs of people, programs and services often spread among many different categories and pages, I probably won't use a few billion cones and rods trying to figure it out online. Scott has made it clear that he supports at least some of the new positions requested by Planning, Sheriff and DA, but only as valid needs that aren't fundable. I'll have some specific questions and suggestions well in advance of the Budget Committee meetings on May 18 and 19. Always interested in your own suggestions and comments, Tryan.
I will be doing a post about it, fairly soon. Looking at it for an hour or so, I found one item that is really ridiculous, that involves riot gear, riot training and logging protests, I know it sounds crazy...because it is!
A few good ones too as it looks as if there will be some treatment funding. And with the amount the County plans to spend on renting jailbeds, it appears that there is no need for a new jail. If fact we could double that amount and rent twice as many and do this for 20-30 years and it will still cost less than a new facility.
Come to the Budget Hearing two days after the election.
See if Richard Lee says two words since he's usually asleep or never says a word, but he's our leader.
Of course by then it'll be too late to change your vote.
Odd how they scheduled that
